I have committed my life to two things, my family and helping women lose weight through exercise and healthy eating habits. I started my journey after gaining 150 pounds over the course of five years, giving birth to my three wonderful children. Today, after healthy eating and a passion for exercise, I’m in the best shape of my life.

Accountability is a very important part of a weight loss program.  Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscle, run a 5K or maintain your fit shape. Having a workout buddy can be instrumental in keeping you focused on your “get and stay fit” journey.

Many people start diets or exercise programs and shortly thereafter fail. Part of the reason is in the beginning there is usually more pain than pleasure.  I find a great way to combat this issue is to hire a personal trainer, take exercise classes on specific days and times so you make new fit minded friends, or find a family member that has similar goals to keep you accountable and on track.

There are so many life obstacles and good excuses that we can talk our way out of eating healthy or sticking to an exercise routine. Having that workout buddy can help both of you stay on track.  You will avoid boredom, motivate and challenge one another, and learn new recipe and exercise tips to share. You will soon gain accountability, have fun and feel great that you are helping each other through such an important, improved lifestyle change.
