- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, sugar, butter, cinnamon, pepper and vanilla extract.
- Bring to a boil stirring occasionally, reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
- Place baked yams in an oven proof baking dish and sprinkle chopped pecans over yams.
- Drizzle with the brown sugar glaze. Zest Dandy® lemon over the top of yams and bake for 35 minutes. Serve hot with all of your holiday favorites.
