Say hello to Troy Floyd, one of Dandy Digest’s most frequent contributors and Duda Farm Fresh Foods Logistics Coordinator - It’s a job that’s as important as it sounds! For the past year and a half, he’s made sure all produce deliveries are fresh and on time. Every day is filled with new coordination challenges, and nothing is more rewarding to him than finding inventive solutions for seemingly impossible logistical problems.
If career paths could choose people, produce logistics would have chosen Troy. Raised in an agricultural family in Immokalee, Florida, he was taught the business of growing, packing, and shipping produce from the ground up. He carried those practical lessons first into the classroom at Hanover College, where he received his degree in business administration, and then on to his future career with Duda.
Now raising two active boys of his own with his wife of 12 years, Troy finds he has many reasons to be grateful for his upbringing and looks forward to the endless possibilities in his job with Duda. In his in-depth Dandy Digest posts, Troy passes on his many years of invaluable experience and “know-hows” to our many readers. Keep an eye out for his posts; you won’t want to miss his fascinating perspectives on the produce industry.
