Duda Farm Fresh Foods Drives Demand with ‘Dip It 2 Win It’ Sweepstakes

Oviedo, Fla.(Dec. 18, 2018) – Back for its third year, Dandy® Celery, grown by Duda Farm Fresh Foods, is proud to announce the return of its ‘Dip It 2 Win It’ Sweepstakes running through January 23, which encourages healthier snacking and drives in-store sales during peak football season – the third highest celery consumption time of the year next to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
To enhance football watch parties and drive demand of Dandy-branded celery, Duda has partnered with Weber Grill to give one grand prize winner a Weber Genesis II 435 LP Gas Grill and Samsung 75-inch Class LED Smart TV. In addition, Duda will be giving away five secondary prizes of a Samsung 55-inch LED Smart TV.

So far, the brand has earned over 3 million impressions from the promotion, thanks to social media and national television segments that promote the giveaway and healthy tailgating recipes with Dandy Celery. Additionally, more than 30,000 submissions have been recorded since the promotion launched three weeks ago – more than double what last year’s Dip It 2 Win It promotion saw in total.
This year, the Dandy brand contributed 67% to national fresh-cut celery sales, a 15% increase from 2017, while Duda’s overall market share saw 76% for retail fresh-cut celery sales, up 16% from last year according to IRI data, last 52 weeks, ending 9/30/18. In order to continue to drive sales, Duda is working hand-in-hand with retailers to maximize opportunities during this peak season.
