Warm Brie with Dandy Celery, Apples, Cranberries & Seeds
What You Need
- 1 8oz. Wheel Brie Cheese
- 1 pkg. Dandy® Celery Sticks
- 2 small Fuji or Gala Apples
- ¼ Cup Fresh Cranberries
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- ½ Cup White Wine
- 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp. Cracked Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Each. Celery seeds, poppy seeds, mustard seeds, flax seeds,
- white and black sesame seeds
- ¼ tsp. Maldon Sea Salt
- 1 loaf favorite bread sliced
Make It
- Preheat Broiler on your oven.
- On a clean cutting board cut the Brie in half, through the center making two rounds, lay them cut side up on a oven proof platter.
- In a small sauce pan, heat the cranberries, sugar and white wine over medium high heat.
- Cook for 8 minutes or until cranberries have burst and syrup has formed, be careful not to burn.
- While cranberries are cooking, peel and dice 1 of the apples and slice ½ of the celery sticks into ⅛ inch slices and set aside.
- Once cranberries are cooked, place the brie under the broiler for 3-5 minutes to melt, remove from oven and top with diced apple, sliced Dandy Celery and pour cranberry jam over the top.
- Sprinkle with the mixed seeds, cracked black pepper and sea salt serve with sliced bread, Dandy® Celery Sticks and the other apple sliced into wedges.
